The movers were on time, very respectful, and the overall pricing of my move was lower than what a lot of other businesses in my area we're asking for. Very impressed with the professionalism of this company. I received a phone call early in the morning confirming the appointment and verifying my address. The men were polite and worked hard to protect my belongings. The weather was less than ideal for moving but they got the job done before the storms came through. It wasn't easy because I moved from a 3rd floor apartment to a home across town with a steep hill and many steps. I certainly got my monies worth and I am very pleased with A+ Dollar Movers. VERY IMPRESSED!! I can't say enough for how Jim and A+ Dollar Movers handled a difficult situation of finding a mover in the area for my sister. I was trying to find a mover in the Towson area to move my disabled sister and her husband out of a condo and into another apartment a few miles away. But I live about 2 hours away and travel for work, so I was just relying on the movers to be trustworthy and honest with me. Jim got right back to me every time I called. I had not seen the condo where my sister lived in a while- so I did not know all the contents. Jim took the time to go to the condo himself and see the contents and was able to give me a fair quote and provide 4 movers to get the job done. He offered a couple different scenarios for pricing, and it seemed like the cheapest way was with a flat rate. He explained all the differences and made it easy to make a decision on the final quote. He continued to show his personal interest by checking in often with my sister and husband to find out a good moving date for them. The moving date changed several times in the course of two weeks, but Jim was VERY flexible and worked with us to get the job done when the time was right. I did not have to stress over not being there myself, as Jim kept me posted on all correspondence and updated me through email or calls on the situation. My sister said that they took good care of things, and were very friendly and courteous. The price was fair and service and attention were excellent!! Thank you for making this much easier than I anticipated! I would definitely recommend Dollar Movers!!

This is the first chance I've had to send a note about my move today. I just wanted to commend your crew on such an amazing job. They were so nice, professional, and entertaining! It certainly took the stress out of my move. They were really so cautious about the items. For example, I (for a second) was alarmed when I saw a leg missing from my kitchen table. Turns out, they weren't sure it would fit without damage so they took it apart and then put it back together. Also, my large dresser was really heavy and they pointed out that the top was coming loose. When they unloaded it at the new place, they took the drawers in first just to ensure they didn't damage it. The guys were so efficient and just really great. I hope to not move for a while but you'll be my first call if I do! I won't hesitate to recommend you to other people in need of movers! Thanks again!

You guys showed up at 9:03 . Not bad lol. Very punctual . My last company showed up 2 hours late . I was expecting 3 men and couldn't believe my eyes when 5 men came with the truck , not to mention the owner himself Jim . A+ Dollar Movers is the best! They came highly recommended by many of my friends and neighbors who used them and they earned their great reputation. Jim was polite, accommodating and helpful. The movers came about two hours after I called and the three gentlemen who came were fantastic. They were polite, helpful and pleasant. They moved my table, chairs and china cabinet down the stairs and into the truck in ten minutes. These guys were real professionals and were extremely accommodating. I have used A+ Dollar Movers three times, going on number four. I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. They are extremely affordable compared to the others. “I compared prices with others” and they don’t try to nickel and dime you like others tried to do. This is the price and that’s that. It was a WONDERFUL experience!! Byron and his crew were great guys!

In October 2005 I hired A+ Dollar Movers to move about 25 articles. I had hired another company who the week before the move called to change the quote. Of course they wanted to charge us more so I cancelled my appointment with them. I ended up frantically trying to find another company with only one week to go. When I called A+ Dollar Movers I was given a quote right over the phone. I described all the articles I wanted moved and was told that they charged by the piece. When I got the quote I booked them right away. I had gotten several other estimates that day and A+ Dollar Movers beat all the others by a noticeable amount.
When moving day arrived, I was very nervous. I had many antiques and collectibles that needed to be moved. Some were very awkward and quite heavy. Joe and his crew arrived on time. It was a little rainy that day and he asked if it was still alright to do the move. He said he would put blankets over the furniture. They showed me the contract and examined all the items that were to be moved. The crew of three then immediately began to move my items. Before I knew it most of them were in the truck. My grandfather clock was one of the last items moved. It was covered and carefully placed in the truck. I was amazed at how they moved each piece so effortlessly. You could tell by their conversations as they decided the best way to move each piece that they were very experienced in what they were doing. I was very impressed. I began to relax and feel good about my decision to hire this company for my move.
